Heritage Academy partners with families to cultivate the souls of their children so that they might grow in wisdom and virtue as they learn to love God and others.
Heritage Academy blends the best of homeschool and private school to create a hybrid academic community that provides a Christian, classical liberal arts education.
Love GOD. Love others. Love learning.
Living in community, we are better able to encourage and equip one another, both in our shared walk of faith and journey of schooling. Through the sharing of our individual, God-given gifts, we are stronger together than alone.
Children are our brothers and sisters in Christ. As such, they are to fully partake in the blessings of the “one-another” love and respect we are called to show all fellow believers. Children's physical, mental, emotional needs must be addressed in developmentally appropriate ways.
Restful learning, or schole, points to a quieted state-of-mind that we may have when given time and mental space to contemplate the materials we are learning. Schole is to be held in careful balance with diligence and excellence. Work must be done, and done well, and the work must be purposeful.
