GOD IS DOING A NEW THING!
"Unless the Lord builds the house,
those who build it labor in vain.
Unless the Lord watches over the city,
the watchman stays awake in vain."
~Psalm 127: 1
Heritage is moving to a new facility in the fall of 2019!
WE HAVE FOUR IMMEDIATE NEEDS AS WE TRANSITION
WILL YOU PARTNER WITH US?
-
FINANCIAL SUPPORT: The cost of materials for classroom renovations this summer will be about $32,000, with an additional $5,000 needed for tables, chairs, and whiteboards. Two generous donors have pledged $10,000 each to this project-- only $17,000 remains! We are looking for others to partner with us as we seek to raise up students who love God and love others. At the concert this week, we will kick-off a fundraiser and give attendees an opportunity to donate to this project. Please share this news with any friends and family who might be interested. All donations are tax deductible. ** Here is a breakdown of materials needed for renovation. This document does not include cost of 80 tables, additional chairs, and whiteboards for classrooms, approximately $5,000. We also need a piano for our music department and hope to have one donated. -
VOLUNTEER LABOR: The renovation project this summer will be overseen and directed by the licensed contractors on the Psalm 91 Board of Directors. The bulk of the labor to finish classrooms for our use will need to come from volunteers within the Heritage community. Will you donate a few hours or a few days of your summer to help with construction? Many hands make light work! Our goal is to have classrooms ready by August 15th. A construction schedule will be sent via email in the coming week.
-
SECURITY COMMITTEE: As any school moves to a new facility, it is necessary to have a security and emergency preparedness assessment performed by a professional so that students and staff are safe and prepared. This will be true for Heritage Learning as we move to Evergreen. We are in need of a few people to serve on a security committee to plan and implement the details of the assessment. If you are interested in serving in this way, please speak with Jane or Erin.
-
CONSTANT PRAYER: God is working in mighty ways. This task is daunting, and we need prayer for all of the many details.
-
Pray that God will raise up a Board of Directors and strong donor base as we become a non-profit organization and enter the fundraising world.
-
Pray that God will provide for our immediate financial and labor needs and the financial needs of Psalm 91, Inc. as they partner with us to provide a facility.
-
Pray that God will fill our classes with students and families who believe in the vision and mission of Heritage.
-
Pray for our leadership team and staff as we make decisions and plans for the future of Heritage.
-
Pray for each other, as parents, that we will trust in the Lord with all our hearts, leaning not on our own understanding, but acknowledging God that He may direct our paths.
-
Pray that our students ultimately will love God and love others, and that now, while they are young, they will love to learn, learn to lead, and lead to serve.
-
Pray that construction will go smoothly and that everything will be ready for school to start in the fall.
-
Pray for the community of Evergreen, that they will see the hope we have because of Christ, that they will see families growing, learning, living life together, that they will embrace our community.

**Heritage Learning is in process to become a non-profit organization and will apply for 501(c)(3) tax exempt status. Psalm 91 currently has this status. Donations are tax deductible when checks are written to Psalm 91, Inc with Heritage Renovations in the memo line.
