All Seventh Grade Heritage students are invited to attend our science camp, put on by The Glacier Institute, October 9th-11th, 2018.  We will do several field sessions, including wilderness orienteering, aquatic sampling, and more.  This will be a great opportunity for relationship building in a fun learning environment on the North Fork of the Flathead River.  One or two Heritage teachers will attend, and we will be recruiting parent chaperones.  Cost per student is $85 and chaperone is $60 which includes all food, lodging, and materials for three days.  We hope that you will join us!

8th-12th grade: Fall Retreat at Thompson Lake

October 09, 2019

Join us for our second annual Fall Retreat for Heritage 8th-12th grade students at Thompson Lake!  The retreat facility has 22 acres, several hundred feet of lake frontage, and a beautiful view!   Enjoy learning, playing, eating, and growing together for three days! This year, we will have an Axis team from Colorado join us to teach and discuss worldview.

Here is what Axis has to say about the content:

WHAT’S YOUR STORY OF THE WORLD?

Rudyard Kipling once said, “If history were taught in the form of stories, it would never be forgotten.” Faith is very similar. What do your students know about the story of God, with its grand beginning at creation, the tragedy of the fall, the redemptive story of Jesus, and the coming Kingdom of God? By comparing three different stories that seek to shape how we view reality, students are encouraged to think for themselves and develop a lifelong faith. Axis presents these three meta-narratives using the six literary elements of story.
